Every purchase on OziCollect is covered by our Buyer Protection program. Your funds are held securely until you confirm receipt.
Escrow Payment
Your payment is held securely and only released to the seller after you confirm receipt.
Auto-Confirm Safety Net
Orders auto-confirm after 3 days of no action — giving you time to inspect your purchase.
Dispute Resolution
If something's wrong, open a dispute within 7 days. Our team mediates and ensures a fair outcome.
Full Refund Eligible
If the item isn't as described or never arrives, you're entitled to a full refund.
How Escrow Works
You Pay — Funds Held Securely
When you complete checkout, your payment is processed by Stripe and held in escrow. The seller does not receive the funds yet.
Seller Ships Your Item
The seller is notified and must ship within 3 business days. They provide a tracking number so you can follow your package.
You Confirm Receipt
Once your item arrives, inspect it and click 'Confirm Receipt' in your profile. This releases funds to the seller.
Funds Released
The seller receives the sale amount minus the platform fee (4.8% AU / 6.8% NZ). Transaction complete!
Refund Process
Item Not as Described
Open a dispute within 7 days of delivery. Provide photos showing the difference from the listing. If validated, you receive a full refund and do not need to return the item for low-value disputes.
Item Not Received
If your item hasn't arrived after 14 business days (domestic) or 30 days (international), contact us. We'll verify with tracking and issue a full refund if delivery cannot be confirmed.
Refund Timeline
Approved refunds are processed within 5–10 business days and returned to your original payment method.
